Easton Parish Council will be holding an extraordinary meeting on Friday 8th May 2026 to discuss and agree its response to the latest Solar Farm planning application on land northwest of Easton and southwest of Letheringham. This is a re-consultation on a planning application previously submitted, and objected to by Easton Parish Council. The Planning Officer has agreed to extend the closing date for representations from the council and parishioners from 21 April 2026 to Friday 22 May 2026. The application reference number is DC/25/2733/FUL. The agenda is available to download.

Easton Parish Council is carrying out a survey to explore how to enhance the play area in the village. A Word copy of the survey form can be completed and emailed to the Parish Clerk: parishclerk@eastonpc.org.uk
The community has spoken and the majority have voted ‘Yes’ for the Neighbourhood Plan. There was an extraordinarily high turnout of 45% and 91% voted for the Neighbourhood Plan.
